Membership and Sponsorship

Membership

In the past the membership strategy was targeting on industry representation rather than business directly. This strategy proved to be restrictive and did not achieve the desired support and interaction from business. SCBC was unable to achieve its stated aims to effectively support business.

As leaders in this diverse business environment our challenge is to ensure this community thrives, now and in the future. We are taking the necessary steps to ensure our membership base reflects the multiple industry and business sectors that operate on the Sunshine Coast. We need to speak as one strong, cohesive voice regardless of the forum or the issue.

Two categories of membership

  1. Business Membership:
    • Open to any business operating in the Sunshine Coast region.
    • Annual Membership Fees:
      • $1,500 for businesses with greater than 100 employees, or
      • $500 for businesses with less than 100 employees.
    • To register your interest to join, call the SCBC on (07) 5409 3215
  2. Industry Membership:
    • Open to any representative industry group operating in the Sunshine Coast region.
    • Annual Membership Fee is $500.
    • To register your interest to join, call the SCBC on (07) 5409 3215.
