The SCBC was established in response to a business community that was not adequately represented in the region.

Our role is to focus on STRATEGIC BUSINESS and EMPLOYMENT GROWTH and INVESTMENT by working effectively with Chambers, Industry and the Business Community. This will require robust engagement with governments so that the 'right' businesses for our region are considered when planning the future of the Sunshine Coast business environment.

By exercising our leadership and cooperative advocacy we will ensure that the voice of business is heard.
